Introduction to cPanel:
- cPanel is a web hosting control panel that is used by users to manage all types of website and server tasks from their hosting accounts. Users can check their web server resources (like Bandwidth, Input-Output limits, CPU details, Number of Processes etc.), managing addon domains, subdomains, zone-editor, organizing website files, creating webmail accounts, and so on.
Typically, you can log in to your cPanel after purchasing a hosting plan. HostGraber service will send you an welcome email that includes a link to your cPanel & other credentials to login to cPanel.
Two main interfaces are available with cPanel. The first is called cPanel User Interface, while the second one is called Web Host Manager (WHM).
User Interface: End-users interact through this interface. It allows them to manage their websites, webmail accounts, databases, and other services related to their hosting account.
Web Host Manager (WHM): Hosting providers use this interface to manage all the server tasks. Numerous tools are available in WHM for managing multiple cPanel accounts, creating new accounts, configuring server settings, and other tasks.
